I completed a BA (Hons) Fine Art degree characterised by the making of large sculptural installations. I've subsequently worked in the field of public realm design for over 30 years.

I've had a career history working as a professional artist which means that I've developed specialised skills in place making projects. Many of these artworks have been fabricated in metals but I've also used LED, acrylic, clay, glass resin and digital print. Much of my early work and experiences provided the foundations for my creative consultancy services for interior design, stakeholder engagement and public art working with main contractors and local authorities.

A fascination with technology in the early 1990s and a sneaking appreciation of the creative possibilities led to me being an early adopter. This has developed into a whole range of approaches and outcomes in the production of artworks. This abiding interest in convergent technologies has complemented my approach to public realm projects and design schemes.

Although my range of interests is wide ranging I'm currently especially interested in concepts around House, Field and Ark and the combination of different materials.
